Unwavering
Mission
Since 1954, Green Bay Bible Camp has been a place set aside for passing faith on to the next generation by i) building kingdom-minded leaders, ii) strengthening families and iii) loving kids.
The founders of Green Bay had a bold vision and made a commitment to invest in the land and infrastructure that Green Bay exists on today. Over the last 70 years, generations of Green Bay families have experienced God’s incredible impact on their children and grandchildren. These years have been marked with a history of God’s faithful provision, the transformation of countless lives and the launching of Kingdom leaders throughout the world.
Over the last 70 years, the mission has been lived out and realized over and over in the lives of thousands of families and youth. Today, we are as committed as ever to impacting children and families with the transforming message of Jesus and developing the next generation of community and church leaders.
Based on what we are seeing today in the hearts and minds of our families and leaders, the next 70+ years are bright and Jesus is moving.
He is working in and through this place so that others may know Him!
Over the years, our buildings and incredible location have been a core tool in facilitating this vision. While our vision is unwavering, our buildings are. The camp needs redeveloped structures to be able to carry the vision forward for the generations to come.
With careful and strategic planning, we are building a new facility that will serve every part of our mission and ensure that every camper and guest of Green Bay will encounter the transforming message of Jesus. It is the first significant milestone in the physical enhancement of the camp. This first phase of the Green Bay Development Plan will amplify our ministry both now and for decades to come: a multi-purpose dining hall, training centre, and community gathering space.
Our Current Reality
Places like Green Bay that are set apart for these purposes are far too rare. Green Bay meets critical needs for investing in families, churches, the next generation, and communities across Western Canada.
It is more vital than ever that spaces like Green Bay are preserved and expanded. We believe Green Bay Bible Camp is worth investing in, fighting for, protecting, and growing together.
In a culture that is shifting, now more than ever we need a place where we can be reminded of the truth that does not change. We need a place to gather, celebrate, and share stories, heartache, and hope. We need a place where we can grow as disciples of Jesus and be empowered to take the voice of hope into the world.
70 years in our heavily used facilities have left the camp in need of new buildings. In order for Green Bay Bible Camp to provide space for life-changing encounters with Jesus for the next 70 years (and beyond!), the camp needs significant improvements.
Our dining hall is a crucial gathering place as it sets the capacity for how many people we can host. The current building is in significant need of repair and expansion. In addition to structural needs, when weather conditions don’t allow us to have outdoor meals, the dining hall and kitchen struggle to facilitate our necessary capacity. This forces meals into shifts and our staff then need to take down and set up our worship area to cram our guests into a tight space.
Building for
the Next 70
As most of our buildings are “the originals”, years of evaluating, planning and preparing have led us to our Green Bay Development Plan. This plan addresses our many current and future needs and has been intentionally designed with every single person who comes to camp in mind.
With clarity and excitement we have launched the first phase of this Plan: a multi-purpose dining hall and retreat centre. This building includes intentional, versatile spaces designed for gathering communities around meals, conducting training and equipping sessions, fostering discipleship and education, facilitating worship and prayer, and supporting local churches and community groups.
What does this key building offer?:
- Large dining area for 360 people
- Indoor and outdoor dining areas
- Updated shower and restroom facilities
- 8 guest suites
- 2 big meeting spaces
- An inviting rooftop patio
- Expansive Lake views
This is not merely a construction project - it is a strategic investment in our mission and an integral part of the local community. The benefits of a new dining hall will extend to all who walk through its doors, enhancing the Green Bay experience throughout the entire year with week-long family and kids’ camps, retreats and community events.
We know how important it is to gather together around a table to share meals, stories of faith, and our hopes for the future. We know the value of celebrating the important milestones of life together and we envision a building where tears and laughter are shared and lifelong memories are made.

Why Now
We are a ministry committed to continuing to grow our core mission.
While the camp has served us well, no one will be surprised to hear that it is time to rebuild. As our buildings grow more tired and our capacity continues to outgrow our spaces, we have been faced with some important decisions.
As we reflect on the past 70 years of life change and connection, we need to steward our land and camp now in a way that benefits future generations of youth, leaders, and families.
In the same way that courageous folks stood together in commitment to impacting the future in 1954, we are standing here holding that same torch today.
It’s time to invest and build for generations to come.
In case you didn't know!
Impending tax changes make it valuable for large donors to consider 2023 commitments instead of pushing them into 2024.
Why Green Bay Bible Camp
For 70 years, Green Bay has been a catalyst for transformed lives.
Our 11 acres of land have housed children, youth, and families for camps focused on bringing people together, inspiring growth, and building faith. Many of our campers who came as children are now returning with their children and grandchildren. We are humbled to be part of a legacy of faith, passed from one generation to the next, over time spent around the table, on the dock, swimming in the lake, singing around campfires, and gathering around the Gospel of Jesus.
Our board and community have shown their continued support and commitment and we believe we are uniquely equipped for this important moment in our history.
Most importantly, we believe God is at the centre of our plans, leading us as we step forward in faith.
Build
Together
Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of many, 70% of our $9 million goal has already been raised for this project. Because of this, we have faithfully launched into the construction of the building.
$6.5 million of $9 million raised!
The current funds committed to this project will take us close to construction lock-up of the building: walls up, roof on, and windows and doors in.
In partnership with our project manager, we have been able to maintain summer programming and year-round retreats as the building is going up.
It is an exciting season at Green Bay!

Our goal is to celebrate the completion of this phase of the Green Bay Development Plan, together, with a completed building by Dec 2024. Our intent is to execute this project without taking on any debt.
We need to raise the remaining $2.5 million to make this a reality and meet the completion needs of this project.
